| Nantgarw Porcelain Plate 10" From the Duke of Newcastle service, finely decorated with flowers by Moses Webster with Gilded and C scroll moulded border. Usually artists on Nantgarw camouflage small flaws in the porcelain with small insects, in this instance Moses Webster has hidden a flaw with the head of a flower as shown in third photo, the blue flower. A plate from this service sold at Sotheby's` Olympia on the 6th October 2005 from the Harold Davies collection, the gilding was badly worn and sold for a total of £1560.
