| A very rare Swansea Pottery cow creamer from the Cambrian factory decorated with a black transfer pattern of " Bude Cornwall from the town" and "Bude Cornwall from northern beach at low tide" I am unaware of another Swansea cow creamer with this design. E Morton Nance in the pottery and porcelain or Swansea and Nantgarw Page 170 appendix 4 states that E H Brindley engraved three views of Bude for the Cambrian Pottery and was evidently the engraver of this design . Cow creamers invariably have restoration to their horns and tails, this example is in excellent condition Circa 1831-50 | £750 | |
