A rare shaped Swansea Porcelain teapot decorated in pattern 449 from the Sir Leslie Joseph collection. This teapot is illustrated on page 75 of Swansea Porcelain Shapes & Decoration by A.E. Jones & Sir Leslie Joseph. The slop bowl from this service was displayed at The Glyn Vivian art gallery 1969 The teapot and cover in excellent condition the cover with a minute chip to the underneath which has been glazed over showing it was done before the final glazing in the kiln A superb example of Swansea Porcelain Circa 1814-22.
