A rare Swansea Cambrian Pottery vegetable dish THOMAS PARDOE. SOLD

This rare Cambrian vegetable dish was decorated by Thomas Pardoe at the Swansea Pottery. Thomas Pardoes work is recognised by his familiar script The botanical decoration to the bowl consists of Toothed Dragon Head to one side Particolouris Iris to the other side of the bowl, It bears an impressed mark 'Swansea 5 C' Length 11 inch (28cm ). Diam 8 1/4 inch. (21 cm ) Height 2 7/8 inch ( 7.5 cm ) Thomas Pardoes painting has survived exceptionally well with none of the enamels missing. There is a hairline crack to the side measuring approx 2 cm as shown in photograph 3 otherwise excellent condition Circa 1802-08. SOLD £ 425.00
