A rare pair of Ewenny three handled vases H 6 inch. SOLD
A super pair of three handled Ewenny vases I believe they were called Hyacinth vases they are dated 1912, the light green flecked glaze has a lighter band to the centre of the vases and makes a perfect background for the inscriptions " Cymry am Byth " and " Tra Mor, Tra Brython " For a pair to have survived without damage is very unusual A single vase illustrated in Ewenny Potteries Gwyneth and Ieuan Evans page 109 Very minor glaze loss.
